Farmer Sarment

Sarment is a farmer at our Westbury Farms at the Westbury Community Garden, just off Hillcroft near Main (US 90). His wife Henriette helps him on his farm. Sarment and Henriette are from Congo and arrived in Houston five years ago. Sarment likes to say: “My English isn’t that good, but look at my produce — it speaks for itself!”

You can buy Sarment’s produce through our weekly farm share subscription (pick-up in The Heights and at the Memorial Villages farmers’ market) and each Saturday at the Memorial Villages farmers’ market.
